Super Block Project
Sidewalk Work
The City was awarded funding through the Federal Safe Routes to School Grant Program to construct a sidewalk on the north side of SE King Road, east of the Baptist Church, and on the west side of SE 145th Avenue, from SE King Road to the Wetland Park. City Staff have been working with ODOT and design consultant David Evans and Associates to design the project. Utility relocations will be occuring over the next weeks. Roadway widening and sidewalk construction will begin after the 4th of July. The majority of the widening and sidewalk work will be complete in approximately 6 weeks, with a few weeks of clean up.
